Auralex Acoustics, Inc. announces the release of its newest sound absorbers, the UtiliTek series. Designed after the company’s ProPanel series, the UtiliTek series offers similar sound absorption at a lower cost. The fabric covered, acoustically absorptive panels are designed to absorb extra room reflections and unwanted reverberation. The lightweight panels are made with Class A fire-rated materials and have a recycled absorptive core.

The UtilitTek series was developed to handle a number of different installations, featuring four thicknesses and two edge profiles, allowing for corner mounting between two walls and across wall and ceiling junctures for low-frequency control. The beveled-edge style dimensions are 2 feet x 2 feet x 1 inch, 2 feet x 4 feet x 2 inches and 2 feet x 4 feet x 1 inch. The square-edge style dimensions are 2 feet x 4 feet x 3 inches.

The UtiliTek series will be available for purchase in July 2012.
