Digital Projection International (DPI) is gearing up for InfoComm 2012 by unleashing a slew of product announcements. The one that has us most excited is the new E-Vision WXGA 7000 projector.
The E-Vision WXGA 7000 is part of the company’s E-Vision series, which is DPI’s best bang for the buck. It was designed as an upgrade to the E-Vision WXGA 600.
Besides the new name, the projector will also get a boost in brightness. The E-Vision 7000 can produce 7,000 lumens of illumination and will also have 3D support.
Users can also expect a wide array of lens options, user-swappable color wheels, and advanced color controls. Other features on the dual-lamp E-Vision 7000 include the latest in Texas Instruments’ dark metal DLP technology, a streamlined cabinet, and a flexible throw ratio range of .76:1 – 8.26:1.
DPI says that the E-Vision WXGA 7000 should start shipping soon. Expect the MSRP on the unit to be $5,995.
